Very good flash

Well animated. Only thing is I felt the voiceover was a bit low. There was the music and voice, but the voice didn't seem louder than the music. The music seemed to overpower it.

Other than that, very well done.

and for the reviewers getting offended, instead of asking the author to be objective, WE'RE the ones supposed to be objective.

Hands down, this is awesome

I think this was very well animated and drawn. Very stylistic. That guy was creepy, but if you're hungry, I guess it'll do that to you!

In a way, I'm glad it ended the way it did because

1) it really was not expected. I mean the knives were foreshadowing in a way, but they were background.
2) it would've been Tom and Jerry all over again.lol

I really liked this. Keep making more!

worth the 20 minutes

This had a very unique style to it, and the weird thing even through all of the off the wall insanity, there was character development, which is awesome, even for an nonsensical Flash. How they got their Morphemons was the best and clever way to do this.

Though it wasn't like professional graphics, it didn't really matter. It still looked good.

Has to be the longest Flash on Newgrounds ever, but you put in a lot of time into it. The jokes were great.

I think what really made me laugh was the the delivery of the last line.

I think the delivery, or the acting needs to be improved. Other than, that, I think you did really good. I can see where this could have really worked.

I think voting lower than 5 is way too harsh. For one, as you stated, you're trying to improve, and I definitely respect that. Definitely keep it up. I can see where you can get better.

IDEA - nice little twist there. just needed to be executed better. for an example, time it so the other person doesn't know it's HCL acid, but think of other ways they could react. The eyes of the owner/seller. good. His laugh felt kind of forced, like the guy who was screaming. Once you figure out how to do that, things are solid. I think the best way to do it is make your "soundtrack" first, than animate that, so you could time it better. I'm not sure how you do it, but we've all got different methods. This is a method I've considered with stuff I'm working on. Unfortunately, I have nothing posted Flashwise (yet), so I can't say too much.

HUMOR - it was there, but the last line actually came out well, and that's where i laughed. it's a funny concept, but it just needed to be delivered better.

ART - I think you did great here, even with animating.

thanks so much for the comment it is reely helpful when people give comments rather than just sayin it sukd!! the main thing for me in this is thr quality of the sound because all my previous subs sound was pretty crappy, so now that i have that down i can work on timing and good plots and character design and i hope that soon i will hav a good all round flash :) thanks again for the comment :)

Nice animation, everything else, fair

You animated excellently, and the voice acting was great, but while this movie was good, it still had weak points. I did see the point you were trying to convey though.

- What grade are these characters in? In the beginning, it defines them as children. I think maybe when you incorporated the crayon drawing, that would've been better to imply her yearnings for affection. There's no way children would be doing something as adolescent as eating at a fancy restaurant. What did Annie expect from bring Glenn to a place more grown up as such? It is a cartoon, yes, and some cartoon characters are depicted in these exact situations at times, but usually it's countered by something else, such as they can't pay for the meal.

- Many others mentioned this one: the music. It was too incohesive that it hindered the Flash a little. Some were fitting with the moods, but the beginning one sounded too creepy.

- The ending, while true in a lot of cases, was a bit weird. I say that because it took that for him to comprehend she liked him? I took it as that hints are not enough to express interest. With her communicating in a way he understood, in drawing, he appreciated her interest. Glenn just wanted to draw. Adult things did not interest him. He's a kid, which was understandable. It felt like he was on the level to almost infantry though. So many conflicting things were going on.

I gave you a 6 because it was very obvious you worked very hard on this, and I admire that. You don't deserve lower though. That's a bit harsh (it is a tough crowd though). There's worse out there. This one I felt the message, but there were just those things that "bugged" me, and others.

I do want to check out your other flashes though. It's obvious you have massive talent. This one had a lot of potential though.

Well, I'm sorry you were put off by all that. As far as the conflicting signs of age, it's best to view this with an open mind, not taking it very literal. Especially when it comes to the 'age', as they appear in a lot of ways to be children. Then, in others, they appear older. I understand it bugged you, but a lot of it was symbolic of things I never intended to make obvious.
And yes, I know. The music sucked in parts, I get it. I personally liked it all, but I suppose I have a weird taste in music. It happens. That and I'm an amateur musician in every sense of the word, so that played a factor in it.
And yeah, it did take something that simple for him to see it. Throughout the entire thing, he was focused only on his art. Annie kept trying to get him to notice her, but he wouldn't. The only thing that made him notice her feeling was seeing the art she made. To speak his language, so to speak. You say he's childish, I say he's simple minded. Basically the same thing, I guess.
But I thank you for trying to watch and seeing its qualities regardless of what you saw as imperfections. I am still learning and I appreciate the feedback!
