As much as I think Nyan Cat is annoying

THIS was done very creatively and very much so entertaining.
The rainbow was a nice touch (Mexican flag colors).

I guess there's a period during its looping stage where the music stops, but it continues the animation, then 30 seconds later, the music comes back on.

There is so much love and work in this. Can't wait to see more! It blew my mind how much work was put into this just by looking at everything: seems like a ton of development took place. Excellent work.

[Jacqueline and the Spawn]

This Is Refreshing

The voice acting REALLY carried the humor, in my opinion. Jacqueline is a great character because of this. The humor style of this was great, too.

Usually, when something is hilarious to me, graphics don't really mean too much; it helps, but it's not super crucial. The point is to entertain, and you did just that. I'll get to graphics here in a bit.

Seemed like the pacing slowed towards the end, but you pulled me in in the beginning. That's important. If it had started slow, and the graphics weren't exactly the best, then people would ignore something that was excellent contentwise. If it were completely for fun, then, cool.

Overall, you did an amazing job. Looking forward to more!!!

I truly enjoy this series!

It also is proof that dialogue isn't everything. Actions can be even more powerful. It's a fun, simple cartoon series. I definitely look forward to these.

This was pretty amusing!

Though the quality wasn't the best drawingwise, it was very excellent Flash. It was entertaining. The voice acting was good, too.

[Captain Ig'nant]

Amazing animation, amazing message

This was very spot on. I found this very entertaining, and the satire was great.

We can all definitely relate to it. Me, for an example, I'm often told that I don't "act Black". I found it hilarious, yet sad at the same time. It's the exact same principle Captain Ig'nant follows: it doesn't just affect Blacks, but others as well, and that was captured perfectly in the scene where the guy's Black friend is doing well in school.

The attitudes were also spot on. I know some fellow Blacks who would not do any better because "it's uppity" or "it's the White way". Ignorance was displayed well. It's like you got the main points of ignorance and compiled them well.

To those comparing this with the Boondocks, think about it. Why does this remind you of the Boondocks?
It didn't to me, but that's everyone's subjective thought.

It was good

I think what really made me laugh was the the delivery of the last line.

I think the delivery, or the acting needs to be improved. Other than, that, I think you did really good. I can see where this could have really worked.

I think voting lower than 5 is way too harsh. For one, as you stated, you're trying to improve, and I definitely respect that. Definitely keep it up. I can see where you can get better.

IDEA - nice little twist there. just needed to be executed better. for an example, time it so the other person doesn't know it's HCL acid, but think of other ways they could react. The eyes of the owner/seller. good. His laugh felt kind of forced, like the guy who was screaming. Once you figure out how to do that, things are solid. I think the best way to do it is make your "soundtrack" first, than animate that, so you could time it better. I'm not sure how you do it, but we've all got different methods. This is a method I've considered with stuff I'm working on. Unfortunately, I have nothing posted Flashwise (yet), so I can't say too much.

HUMOR - it was there, but the last line actually came out well, and that's where i laughed. it's a funny concept, but it just needed to be delivered better.

ART - I think you did great here, even with animating.

thanks so much for the comment it is reely helpful when people give comments rather than just sayin it sukd!! the main thing for me in this is thr quality of the sound because all my previous subs sound was pretty crappy, so now that i have that down i can work on timing and good plots and character design and i hope that soon i will hav a good all round flash :) thanks again for the comment :)

I liked it

I liked the movie. It gave me a small chuckle, but even more, something to think about. It's cool that you have the cash register doing something as well, since it's almost static.

About reviews for music or anything really, I don't trust just one source, even if it's reputable or not; I view many, then base my judgment whether if it's purely a subjective view or objective view of the work. Most of all, I usually ignore reviews for games/movies/music, but consider the more objective things they mention. Everyone has different tastes, so often it's hard to target a specific audience, so a more general approach seems to be used.

I never understood the indie that plays now. It feels almost contradictory to even call it indie now. I'm not saying it's bad, it just doesn't feel like indie....

I could go on, but I won't.
